How shoppers actually type

Real query shapes from Spanish storefronts, and what each one has to match.

Synonym groups are configured once in the dashboard. Everything else works out of the box.

What goes wrong without it

Accents disappear on mobile — 'movil' for 'móvil', 'articulo' for 'artículo' — and exact matching turns both into zero results.
The ñ is typed as a plain n as often as not, so 'nino' has to reach 'niño'.
Spain and Latin America do not shop with the same words: 'móvil' or 'celular', 'ordenador' or 'computadora'. Half your traffic uses vocabulary your catalogue never mentions.
Long descriptive queries — 'zapatos para boda' — contain none of the keywords in the product title.

How SearchX handles it

Accent- and diacritic-insensitive matching, ñ included, in both the query and the indexed catalogue.
Regional vocabulary is a synonym group, not a catalogue rewrite: map 'celular' to 'móvil' once and both work everywhere.
Typo tolerance of one to two characters catches the misspellings that long Spanish product names invite.
Semantic AI search covers the descriptive queries, matching on meaning when no single keyword appears in the title.

The widget in Spanish

The widget interface ships in Spanish and is fetched at runtime, so it adds nothing to your bundle.
Wording is region-neutral, avoiding vocabulary that only reads naturally in Spain or only in Latin America.
Reword any label with a custom locale file if your brand voice calls for something different.

Try it on your own catalogue
