Track search performance and user behavior with the SearchX analytics dashboard.


Overview

The SearchX dashboard provides analytics on how users interact with your search. Use these insights to optimize your catalog, ranking rules, and search settings.


Available Metrics

Search Activity

  • Total Views — Number of times the search widget was loaded.
  • Total Searches — Number of search queries performed.
  • Searches Over Time — Trend chart showing search activity.

Top Queries

  • Most frequently searched terms.
  • Queries with no results (opportunities to add products or synonyms).
  • Queries with low click-through rates.

Conversion Funnel

SearchX tracks the full user journey from discovery to action:

  • Views — Widget loads (impressions).
  • Searches — Queries performed by users.
  • Clicks — Product clicks from search results (click-through rate).
  • Add to Cart — Cart additions originating from search (conversion rate).

CTR and conversion rate are available per query and per product.

Device & Location Intelligence

SearchX collects device and location data to help you understand your audience:

  • OS Distribution — Breakdown by operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.).
  • Device Type — Distribution across Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet.
  • Country Distribution — Interactive world map showing where your search traffic originates.

Location and device data is powered by a specialized IP API for accurate geolocation.

Total Views, Average Daily Views, Total Searches, and OS/Device distribution.
Interactive world map with country-level traffic distribution.
Search trends, top queries, converting terms, clicked products, and add-to-cart metrics.

Accessing Analytics

  1. Go to Applications in the SearchX Dashboard.
  2. Select your application.
  3. Navigate to the Statistics tab.

Low CTR Queries

If specific queries have low click-through rates:

No-Result Queries

If users are searching for terms with no results:

  • Check if the products exist in your catalog.
  • Verify that relevant attributes are marked as searchable.
  • Consider adding synonyms or alternative product names.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for the duration of your subscription plan. Contact support for information about data retention periods.
